I wish I could say that Iraq was the first war that our nation has gotten into under false pretenses, but sadly it is not. The time has come to think realistically about the situation in Iraq. I do not feel our current course in this issue is accomplishing anything other then filling the pockets of the various corporations that are profiting directly from the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. With the Bush administration setting it’s sights on other countries, now more then ever we must take a serious look at what the role of the United States should have in the so called “War on terror.” The safety of our troops is of paramount importance to me. And I feel that the best way to support the troops is to get them out of harms way as fast as possible, and back to their families.
